The Alive Experience: THE SHOWDOWN

The ALIVE Dance Experience, brought to you by ALIVE Dance Tours, is a single day event featuring a dance convention and dance competition. Dancers will have the opportunity to participate in jazz, contemporary, and hip hop classes during The Convention, demonstrate what they learned in The Showcase, compete with previously choreographed routines during The Competition, and improv/freestyle in The Showdown.

NEWLY ADDED!! - Since our first event last season, we have added three exciting elements to our convention!

1. This year, we are debuting our very own dance show!  In this show, dancers are invited to bring their own pieces and compete them in front of our faculty for feedback from industry professionals (The Competition)  Solos, duets, trios, and groups are all welcome to compete!  Dancers are also invited to compete individually in an improv/freestyle division (The Showdown).  Both The Competition and The Showdown are opportunities for dancers to inspire each other to feel ALIVE through their creations.  

2. For our 2023-2024 season, we are also adding an additional class level!  This year we will have junior, intermediate, and advanced rooms (see below for more specific level information).

• The Junior Room is recommended for beginner dancers that are 6 - 10 years old with 1+ year of dance experience and training.
• The Intermediate Room is recommended for dancers ages 11-14 with 3+ years of dance experience an d training.
• The Advanced Room is recommended for dancers 15 & up with 6+ years of dance experience and a high level of training.
