Penelope

Meet Penelope!  Penelope is 10 years old and has been dancing since she was 4 years old.  She currently dances at Miss Tanya’s School of Dance where she is a member of the competition team. Penelope’s favorite style of dance is jazz.  When we asked Penelope what she loves most about dance, she told us that she loves the creativity and challenge involved.  Dance makes Penelope feel alive because it gives her the opportunity to express her passion on stage.  

Penelope’s favorite part of coming to Alive was making new friends and learning the choreography.  She is looking forward to the next Alive event so that she can learn more dance skills.  

Fun fact - Penelope has a good sense of humor and always looks forward to learning new skills.  Penelope is also very self-motivated.  She works really hard both on and off the stage.  She puts in all of this work because she hopes that one day she takes her dance career all the way to the top.
