Sanova

Meet Sanova!  Sanova is 9 years old and has been dancing since she was 2.  She currently dances at Studio28 Dance where dance is a part of her everyday life.  She dances with her studio’s dance team and loves spending time with them.  Sanova loves all styles, but her favorites would have to be lyrical and contemporary.  When we asked Sanova what she loves about dance, she told us that she loves how dance gives her the opportunity to perform in front of an audience and for her family.  Dance makes Sanova feel alive because she can let the music take over her body.

Sanova’s favorite parts of The Convention were getting chosen as an ambassador and making new dance friends.  She is looking forward to the next Alive event so that she can make more connections and friends in the dance world.  Sanova is also looking forward to learning from more amazing choreographers.

Fun fact - Sanoba loves to tell jokes!  Also, Sanova was accepted into Debbie Allen’s Summer Intensive Program in Los Angeles last summer.  Here she had the opportunity to perform The Wiz and  Diana Ross was in the audience!  Sanova was also accepted into Joffrey Chicago’s Summer Intensive.  Last Christmas, Sanova was also in the Tony Williams’ Urban Nutcracker in Boston MA.
