Alexis

Meet Alexis!  Alexis is 11 years old and has been dancing for 8 years.  She dances at Encore Dance Academy in Reading, MA where she is a member of one of their dance teams.  Alexis loves all styles of dance, but her favorites are jazz, contemporary, and lyrical.  When we asked Alexis what she loves most about dance, she told us that she loves learning new choreography and meeting new people (both the dancers and the instructors).  Dance makes Alexis feel alive because she gets to express herself through dance.  When she learns new dances, she has the opportunity to become different characters, and she really enjoys that.   

Alexis’ favorite part of Alive Dance Tours events is learning new choreography and meeting the different instructors.  She is looking forward to January’s event so that she can demonstrate in class as one of the ambassadors.  

Fun fact - Alexis used to be a USAG competitive gymnast!
