Lylah

Meet Lylah!  Lylah is 17 years old and has been dancing for the past 15 years.  Lylah trains at Winthrop School of Performing Arts in Winthrop, MA.  At WSPA, Lylah takes classes in multiple styles of dance and is a member of the competition team.  Her favorite styles of dance are jazz and hip hop. When we asked Lylah what she loves most about dance, she told us that she loves how she is able to tell a story through each different routine and really connect with the music.  She also loves how she can grow through the movements and constantly learn new things while having so much fun.  Dance makes Lylah feel alive because performing on stage brings her so much energy and adrenaline - so much so that she forgets about everything else and she is able to do what she loves to do.  

Lylah’s favorite part of Alive Dance Tours’ is how she is challenged with new choreography every time.  She also loves how she is able to learn with so many other amazing dancers and teachers because it is so inspiring to be alongside people who love to dance and are having fun doing it just like she does.  Lylah is looking forward to the next event so that she can assist the amazing choreographers.  She is also looking forward to making new friends!

Fun fact - Lylah wants to continue dancing in college!  She might join a dance team or a club, but she knows that it will be so much fun to continue dancing after high school!
