Emilie

Meet Emilie!  Emilie is 10 years olf and has been dancing since she was 2 years old.  Emilie dances at New England Dance Academy.  Here she dances 5 days a week and is on the competition team.  With her team, she competes in jazz, lyrical, tap, hip-hop, and acro.  Emilie loves attending dance conventions and dance intensives.  Last year, Emilie was also a part of the children’s cast in Ballet RI’s production of The Nutcracker!  Emilie’s favorite styles of dance are lyrical and contemporary.  When we asked Emilie what she loves most about dance, she told us that she loves how dance allows her to show her personality.  Dance makes Emilie feel alive because it allows her to forget about all of her worries.

Emilie’s favorite part of an Alive Dance Tours’ event is the improv during The Showdown!  She is looking forward to attending a future Alive event so that she can assist classes as an ambassador.  

Fun fact - when she isn’t dancing, Emilie actually loves to golf!  She is also a model for Aspiration Dancewear.
