Amelia

Meet Amelia!  Amelia is 13 and has been dancing for the past 11 years.  Currently, Amelia dances at Encore Dance Academy.  For Amelia, dance is her life!  At Encore, she dances with a competition team.  Amelia’s favorite style of dance is contemporary.  When we asked Amelia what she loves most about dance, she told us that she loves how she gets to express herself through dance.  She also said that she loves how it gives her the opportunity to dance and compete with some of her best friends.  Dance makes Amelia feel alive because it makes her feel accomplished.  When she’s dancing, she feels free and calm.  

Amelia’s favorite part about coming to an Alive event is being able to learn from others and become a better dancer.  She is looking forward to the next event in January so that she can grow even stronger as a dancer.  

Fun fact - Amelia loves Tate McRae and Dancing With the Stars!   When Amelia grows up, she wants to become a professional dancer!
