Meet Kingsley!  Kingsley is 12 years old and has been dancing for the past 10 years.  She currently dances at The Dance Factory in Lincoln, RI where she is a member of the competitive dance team.  In addition, Kingsley loves to train on the weekends at conventions and master classes.  She is always looking for new ways to learn and grow.  Kingsley’s favorite style of dance is contemporary.  She loves contemporary because of the freedom that it has since it incorporates many different styles.  She loves improv when she can dance in the moment.  When we asked Kingsley what she loves most about dance, she told us that she loves how dance allows her to be her true self.  She loves sharing her heart and her story on stage.  When Kingsley performs, she feels truly alive.

 

Kingsley’s favorite parts of an Alive Dance Tours’ event are taking classes, learning from great teachers, and making new dance friends!  She is looking forward to future events so that she can be an assistant in the classes and connect with old and new friends.

 

Fun fact - Kingsley loves being a helper in the tiny tumblers class at her dance studio!
